First Middle East Film and Comic Convention

Fans of comics, sci-fi and fantasy in the Middle East will now have their own comic convention. In March 2011 Abu Dhabi’s National Exhibition Centre will be the first in the region to host its own version of the San Diego Comic-Con International.
The concept of the Comic Con (or Comics Convention) started in 1970 in San Diego, USA which is now a four day event attracting over 125,000 people. There are over 40 similar conventions now held annually around the world and now, for the first time, in the middle east!
There are thousands of fans out there waiting for an opportunity to share their passion about any number of cult entertainment topics. If you are a die-hard fan or a fan without even knowing it there will be something to keep you entertained for hours and leave you wanting more.
