The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club.
This national event will enjoy camel auctions, saluki beauty contests, art competitions and traditional hunting and equestrian activities. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the latest camping, hunting, equestrian and weaponry equipment, and view a designated heritage area to acquaint visitors with the deep-rooted traditions of Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
From Wednesday 22nd September to Saturday 25th September 2010 experience the Middle East’s most renowned and established hunting and equestrian exhibition.
About ADIHEX
ADIHEX is an annual event that has rapidly gained international recognition and widespread popularity in the last seven editions, attracting over 100,000 visitors from around the world in 2009 alone.
Since its launch ADIHEX has grown from strength to strength and is now one of the most popular exhibitions in Abu Dhabi, encouraging, protecting and safeguarding many traditional values of the Emirates. These values are reflected in many of the activities that dominated life in the region: horsemanship, falconry, hunting, fishing and arts and crafts.
This event is at the heart of life in the Emirates and there is something on offer for enthusiasts and amateurs of all levels and ages.
ADIHEX is organised by the Emirates Falconers’ Club in collaboration with Turret Middle East and supported by Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage.
