List Of Winners At The 82nd Annual Academy Awards

The 82nd Academy Awards are over for this year, and the winners are handed over their golden knights. While it’s the 1st win for some like Sandra Bullock, Jeff Bridges, Mo’nique, Christoph Waltz etc in the major categories like best lead actors and best supporting roles, there are other winners whose win was quite anticipated like the ones for The Hurt Locker and Avatar! As the winner list shows, The Hurt Locker beats Avatar by twice the number of wins by the latter! In other words, if Avatar has won Oscar in three different sections, the number is six for The Hurt Locker. Avatar has been the talk of the town since few months for its awesome visual effects and the massive money making power. And it has won the Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects too as expected. But it seems that was enough to defeat Kathryn Bigelow’s celluloid venture. It had the original story, best direction, best editing and sound work along with the ability to make it the Best Picture of 2009. And with the win, the 58years old director has made a record as the first ever lady director to win an Oscar for her film! List of 2010 Oscar winners: Motion Picture: "The Hurt Locker."
