The 5th Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Festival will take place at Emirates Palace Auditorium Abu Dhabi. This Festival will bring together 12 events by artists of the highest calibre from both Western and Eastern music traditions in a celebration of concerts, collaborative works and art symposiums.The programme for the Festival underlines its growing profile as a major event on the international arts calendar.The program opens March 22 and runs to April 2. Highlights will include violinist Nikolaj Znaider and the London Philharmonic under the direction of Vladimir Jurowski; pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet in an evening of Mozart, Ravel and Prokofiev; and Grammy-nominated soprano Anna Netrebko in a special gala with the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra.Festival Founder, H.E. Hoda Al Khamis-Kanoo, has long supported Abu Dhabis vision to be an international cultural leader. She holds a firm belief in the major role the art plays in building a nation and social well-being.
