Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
The race begins at Abu Dhabi! It will be scheduled for Sunday 1st December 2019. The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is one of the most exciting weekends of the year. It is one of the biggest international events in the city of Abu Dhabi. A crowd of 60,000 people will be present to witness this intense race. From famous celebrities, supermodels and not to forget DJs that will make bring an exciting vibe to the pitch.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is a Formula One is a motor race. It was first launched in early 2007 at the Abu Dhabi F1 Festival in the United Arab Emirates. However, the first race took place on 1 November 2009, held at the Hermann Tilke.
On the 29th November till 1st December 2019, races will head on the Yas Marina Circuit which is found on Yas Island around 30 minutes from Abu Dhabi. This programmed is designed by Hermann Tilke, this is the second Formula 1 track in the Middle East. The circuit has hosted its first Grand Prix on the 1st of November 2009. It was the first circuit to host a Formula 1 twilight race using floodlights to improve the circuit and to ensure a perfect change from day to night.
Yas Marina Circuit is one of the few venues to run in an anti-clockwise direction, and it is also exceptional as it is the sole track with an alternative pit lane. With top speeds of 320km/h, it involves 20 corners which are made up of 9 right turns and 11 left turns. It has a twist because of the man-made island, happening all along the marina and under the 5-star Yas Marina Hotel.
The circuit has undergone changes as the track allows more overtaking opportunities. Yet, the Yas Marina circuit is fun, and the unique circuits are more challenging to the expert drivers in the last race of the season. Once in a lifetime F1 action, Yas Marina Concerts included.
