Aldar Properties PJSC (‘Aldar’), Abu Dhabi’s leading listed property development, investment and management company, has been named the leading corporate for investor relations (IR) in the Middle East at the 9th edition of the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) annual conference and awards ceremony.
Held on Wednesday 20 September 2017 at The Address Dubai Mall, MEIRA commended Aldar on its contribution to the ongoing development of corporate governance and commitment to disclosure and transparency, which are key requirements of efficient capital markets. In addition, Aldar’s Chief Financial Officer, Greg Fewer, was awarded best Investor Relations by CFO and Chris Wilson was named best Investor Relations Professional in the United Arab Emirates.
The annual awards ceremony recognizes top-performing IRO’s, leading Corporates, CEO’s, CFO’s in IR for the Middle East region, leading corporates and professionals on a country level across the region, and companies that demonstrated the best year-on-year improvement in IR practice overall, best annual report, and best IR website.

MEIRA’s IR Awards are carried out in partnership with WeConvene Extel. Through an online survey, buy-side and sell-side analysts gave their views on the IR performance of corporates and individuals with 294 qualifying responses received. Votes are weighted according to the company’s Equity Assets Under Management (AUM).
