UNB sponsored the Human Appeal International project, which aims to provide relief to needy families in the UAE by providing them with basic life necessities. The initiative provided needy families assistance with materials and sets needed for summer such as Air Conditioners and refrigerators.  Through this initiative UNB supported 68 families across Ajman, Um Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah.

Mr. Fahed Darwish, AVP & Area Manager, Sharjah & Northern Emirates Area Branch Banking Division, Sharjah & Northern Emirates took part and visited the HAI head office to distribute the provided products to the families.

Mr. Fahed Darwish commented: "We are pleased to support the Human Appeal International project, which focusses on improving the quality of life amongst the under privileged segment. Contributing in the relief of the affected communities and improving the lifestyle of these families is in line with UNB's corporate social responsibility initiatives and efforts.

Mr. Abdullah Alawadi at HAI commented “We are pleased to cooperate with UNB; it was a successful sponsorship project which supported needy families in our society. We encourage everyone to support those who need help in communities.
