Emirates Aviation University is gearing up to meet thousands of ambitious students at Najah 2015, Abu Dhabi’s leading higher education exhibition.
The university has been participating in the annual event since 2010, and this year marks the first official appearance of the college’s new identity as a fully-fledged University at the exhibition. Its new academic status was approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research last year in recognition of the college’s diverse programmes.
“In tandem with the rapid development of the aviation industry in the MENA region, the demand for quality education is also increasing exponentially – a fact that is evidenced by our growing student population. Over 350 students and parents visited our stand in 2013, highlighting EAU’s position as the centre of aviation excellence in the region.” said Dr. Ahmad Al Ali, Vice Chancellor of Emirates Aviation University.
“Najah is a great platform for us to reach out to prospective students in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. In addition to Najah, we’ve participated in three different higher education exhibitions this year including EduTraC in Oman and EDUTEC in Kuwait. We have managed to successfully expand our international reach to meet the changing needs of the aviation and education industries.” he added.
EAU remains committed to offering new and industry-relevant programmes. In 2015, the university introduced four new programmes including Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Masters in Aerospace Engineering, Applied Masters in Mechanical Engineering, and Applied Masters in HR Management and Development.
The university also offers Master degrees in Aviation Security, Aviation Safety, Human Resource Management and Human Resource Development, MBAs in Aviation Management; Bachelor degrees in Aerospace Technology, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Avionics Technology, Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management and Applied Business; Diplomas and Higher Diplomas in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computing, Computing Software Development, Business Management and Tourism Management.
Emirates Aviation University will part take in Najah 2015 until 29th October, where prospective students have the opportunity to learn about the course offerings and speak directly to the faculty.
