On 19th November, Yasalam 2015 will kick off this year's celebrations running for eleven exhilarating, fun days for the entire family to enjoy. The Yasalam Opening Parade will be an iconic display of carnival-styled excitement that opens the Yasalam festival in style.

Running every day of Yasalam, the F1 FanZone will also start on 19th November and features the world's largest and most diverse F1 fan experience, including the best view of the weekend races on large-scale screens, real-life F1 racing simulators, motion simulators, mega-drive, pit stop challenge and many more. Bringing live action to the fans, each incredible feature of the F1 FanZone gives motorsport enthusiasts of all ages hands-on experience within the fast-paced world of F1.

Joining the F1 FanZone is the return of the Urban Art Zone. A crowd-pleaser first seen in 2014, the Urban Art Zone gives the community an experience in bringing creativity to everyday life. Including exciting art and craft workshops, the zone is sure to be a hit amongst young aspiring artists and adults alike.

Opening its doors to action fans on the same day is the Get Driver Fit Obstacle Course Challenge, which will represent the ultimate test of strength and determination for participants. Marking the end of the third annual Get Driver Fit programme brought to you by Daman's ActiveLife, the course will comprise formidable obstacles and offer the ultimate challenge for participants to push themselves to the limit of their speed, core strength and fitness, and hopefully win the top prize of a lifetime, a relaxing getaway to the Seychelles. The newest addition to the Get Driver Fit programme ­ the GDF Fitness ZZone will also be open throughout the 11 days of the festival offeringg lots of active fun including the custom-built Muscle Beach and numerous daily drop-in beach fitness classes for those that wants to get fit with a sea view and fresh air.

In addition to the variety of community activities, music and entertainment fans have the opportunity to watch a multitude of mesmerizing on-stage displays at the Yasalam After-Race Concerts featuring DJ Said Mrad, Aryam, Cheb Khaled and Fares Karam, Enrique Iglesias, Florence + The Machine and Blur, set to take place from the
26th -29th November. Over the course of the weekend, fans will enjoy the largest free party in the capital at 'Volkswagen presents Beats on the Beach', featuring world-renowned artists such as J.Cole, Faithless, Wael Kfoury and Bamboo. Additional international and regional artists will be announced soon.
