The official launch of the Guylian Belgian Chocolate Café took place in the Luxury Court at Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi.
Guests were invited to experience the unique Guylian taste of the finest Belgian chocolate in the elegant yet casual surroundings, whilst enjoying an exclusive range of premium chocolate delicacies.
Founded in the 1960s, Guylian started as a small home production unit for truffles and pralines. In 1988, Guylian opened its first factory and now distributes its wide range of chocolates around the world. Renowned for its exquisite Belgian Chocolate Sea Shells, filled with roasted hazelnut praline, Guylian also offers a range of gift boxes with truffles, Belgian assortment pralines, Neapolitans and more.
All recipes are exclusively designed by the Belgian chef Peter Goossens of the three Michelin stared restaurant ‘Hof van Cleve’. Goossens’ contemporary cuisine is an enduring tribute to good taste and modernization in all its facets. His challenge was to incorporate Guylian’s quality ingredients – milk, white and dark Belgian chocolate, hazelnuts and the traditionally made roasted hazelnut praliné filling – into unique indulging recipes.
Ideal whether spoiling a loved one or sharing with colleagues in the office, chocolate lovers can pick and choose their favourites and have them packed in luxurious ballotins or custom made gift wrapp with designs for every season of the year. Additionally, gourmet hampers can be assembled with an array of delights such as Guylian’s chocolate spread, cocoa powder, or Belgian chocolate dip.
In addition to the array of chocolates, the Café offers of a wide assortment of cold and hot chocolate drinks and coffees, desserts, ice cream and Belgian breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes. From the Guylian chocolate mousse pie (a mousse of Belgian chocolate and Guylian hazelnut praliné, enriched with fine almond sponge cake, coffee and custard cream), to the Guylian biscuit (fine layered biscuit with vanilla, Belgian dark chocolate and Guylian hazelnut praliné cream) – foodies will delight in mouthwatering offerings.
Open every day from 10am until 10pm all chocolate at the Guylian Belgian Chocolate Café will be imported directly from Belgium.
