Under the Patronage of H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Force. The role of business enterprise is increasingly seen as an important and perhaps the most promising part of the solution in shrinking the gap between ’how our world is’ and ’how it ought to be’.
Enterprises in the Middle East are also developing in this spirit and are already playing a more and more active role in the regional and global economy. Correspondingly, the region’s leadership and human capital are coming to the fore as a source of promise and sustainability.
It is against this vibrant background that INSEAD, as The Business School for the World, launches its first Leadership Summit Middle East. Joined by distinguished speakers and faculty, and based on the latest research from the Arab world and globally, we will explore several topics including the region’s long term aspirations in the face of rapid social and organizational change, leadership dynamics within the interface between psychology and management, leading to a discussion on corporate citizenship, human capital formation, and the evolving nature of capitalism.
To explore the theme ’from dreams to action’, and to commemorate INSEAD’s 50th anniversary, join us for our first Leadership Summit Middle East taking place in Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi on Sunday 17 January, 2010.
Leadership Summits
The INSEAD Leadership Summit is the School’s flagship event, held in Singapore, Abu Dhabi and Fontainebleau, France. The Summits are a platform for high level leaders from business, academia, politics and the media to get together in a dynamic setting with an opportunity for thought-provoking discussions and networking.
Since the Summits’ inception in 2007, delegates from all over the world have engaged in open dialogues and interactive sessions with INSEAD faculty and experts, moderated by media professionals. INSEAD has never shied away from challenging yet topical questions such as:
