A team of 30 employees from UAE-based conglomerate Crescent Enterprises recently took part in the Landmark Mangrove Projectled byGreen Abu Dhabi, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of environmental conservation and protecting the region’s natural habitat. Working alongside a group of students from New York University Abu Dhabi, the volunteersspent an afternoon collecting refuse and debris as part of this local environmental initiative, which is under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan the Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, with the cooperation of the Abu Dhabi Municipality and the Emirates Wildlife Society-World Wildlife Fund.
