Also in 2017, the number of transactions carried out through the co-operative societies reached 223,014. The Municipality's digital channels had executed 66,859 transactions in 2017. The breakdown of these comprises 16,948 transactions for building permit services, 42,389 transactions for land services and registration of tenancy contracts, and 7,522 transactions for issuing subsidised foodstuffs.

ADM is offering a range of services through its digital platforms and is working on new projects in support of its plan. The services lists on the website include building permits services, issuance of subsidised foodstuffs, and certificates of land plots; which is amongst the highest services in demand online or through the smart app. Currently, the service is being restructured to ensure a smooth customer experience without required them to visit municipal centres. This service is expected to be re-launched in the second quarter of 2018.

As for registration of main tenancy contract services, the Municipality confirms that the services will be available online through its website. Additionally, these services can be availed via 11 Tasheel centres.

Abu Dhabi City Municipality confirmed that projects to take place include the 'Smart Pass' project that aims to register clients through the website and service centres as well as service centres of its partners namely Tasheel and Empost spread across Abu Dhabi. A unified username is being developed to enable customers to apply for all municipal services on government digital platforms at the federal or local levels.
