Watani programme participated in the Dates Festival 2012 organized by Dubai Civil Aviation from July 2-4, as part of its mission to enhance the national identity by showcasing the UAE heritage and introducing UAE visitors and residents to this rich culture.

The exhibition highlighted the healthy benefits of dates and demonstratedthe methods of planting Palm trees and taking care of them. The three-day event was organized at Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport. Wataniarranged several activities alongside the festival, including a heritage exhibition and workshop of creating dates made of ceramic.
