The Abu Dhabi Sports Council was awarded the Best Sporting Event, one of the Middle East Event Awards, for the its Calendar of Sports Events celebrating of the UAE’s 40th National Day.

The winners of the 2012 Middle East Event Awards were announced this week, 2 May at a ceremony in Dubai.

The Council organized a 30-day mega series of 25 events involving 15 clubs from Abu Dhabi to celebrate the anniversary.

The Middle East event industry gathered to network, meet potential clients, catch up with colleagues and wait in anticipation for the announcements of the winners.

The Middle East Event Awards are part of the Middle East Event Show which took place between 1 - 3 May 2012 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
