The annual Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) 2012 concluded yesterday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

Over 900 publishing companies from 54 countries showcased more than half a million tiles in 33 languages in the event.

Tens of thousands of visitors thronged the exhibition organised by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Tourism and Culture.

The ADBIF was rich with cultural events and hosted the award ceremony for the winners of the Zayed Book Prize.

In a unique first of its kind, the Abu Dhabi book fair took its pride of place as the Green Fair, thanks to its eco-friendly initiatives.
