The Abu Dhabi Executive Committee approved today a series of projects submitted by Abu Dhabi Electricity and Water Authority (ADEWA), the most important of them is the satellite ground station.

A key power station will be commissioned to secure regular electricity source of high quality so as to accelerate implementation of the project.

In its meeting today chaired by Mohammed Ahmed Al Bowardi, member of Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, the committee reviewed a bid tendered by Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) on subsidy for a fodder programme as part of its policy to conserve natural resources in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

A memorandum from the Department for Municipal Affairs on allocation of additional funds for expansion of Al Ain-Dubai highway was also examined.

The committee also discussed a number of projects submitted by Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) to improve health services provided to the local community at bar with international best practices.
