The Central Bank of the UAE will issue a commemorative one Dirham coin on Saturday in celebration of the World Environment Day.

The Central bank in an announcement said that the diameter of the commemorative Dirham coin will be 24 mm, weighting 6.4 gms and its alloy is made of 75 % Copper, 25 % Nickel.

It added that face of the coin is unchanged but its back depicts the logo of this occasion.

The commemorative Dirham coin will be put in circulation through branches of the Central Bank, with effect from February 4th, 2012 as per usual practice.
