In accordance with the Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRA)’s directive to protect the UAE’s consumers from the downfalls of using illegal fake mobile handsets, we are pleased to announce that as of 24 January 2012 we have successfully blocked all handsets using an invalid IMEI. We would like to thank our customers for their co-operation during this process.

Further, we will continue to monitor and block any new illegal fake IMEI’s seen on our network on an ongoing basis.
