TAQA, Dutch Deputy Prime Minister Discuss Energy Investment Partnerships In Abu Dhabi

H.E. Maxime Verhagen, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation of the Netherlands, today met with H.E. Hamad Al Hurr Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA) at the TAQA Headquarters in Abu Dhabi during H.M. Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands’ state visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

8 January 2012, Abu Dhabi, UAE – H.E. Maxime Verhagen, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation of the Netherlands, today met with H.E. Hamad Al Hurr Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA), H.E. Abdulla Saif Al Nuaimi, Vice-Chairman, and Carl Sheldon, CEO of the company.

The meeting took place at the TAQA Headquarters in Abu Dhabi during H.M. Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands’ state visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

During the bilateral meeting, both parties expressed the importance of TAQA’s investments in the Netherlands and the two countries’ trade relations.

TAQA is the largest UAE investor in the Netherlands. TAQA’s Dutch oil and gas assets are valued at USD 1.7 Billion.
