Summer is in full swing, but Abu Dhabi Golf Club guarantees to ‘Keep Walking’ despite the heat, through to the end of September.

Having teed off weeks ago, the ‘Keep Walking’ series at the capital’s premier golf course, has already attracted large fields for each early Wednesday evening, nine-hole, shotgun event.

Week 10 of the Keep Walking Series was the ”Favourite 5” competition were players select their best five stableford scores from the nine holes played. With consistent low scoring on the day, four players all tied on 13 points. However it was the 2010 Keep Walking Series Champion David De Angelo who prevailed as the winner after beating Joy Mills, Gerhard Snyman and Shamal Karim on a card play-off to take first place.

After ten weeks of competition, its getting close at the top with Nigel Husk leading the way with 53.5 points from Donovan Joseph on 47 points and Leon Pretorius on 46 points. With another 15 weeks to go there is still plenty to play for in the 2011 Keep Walking Series.
