The UAE has won the "Best Pavilion Award" during its participation in the Import Goods Fair 2011 here in the Korean capital, Seoul.

A number of UAE companies took part in the fair which was organized by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade, that also contributed to the strong presence of UAE companies in the exhibition.

The UAE is the second largest export market for South Korea in the Middle East while Korea is one of the largest investors in the goods and services area in the country, especially in the information technology, automotive, construction, energy and other sectors.

The volume of foreign trade between the UAE and South Korea over the past year reached around AED three billion and 400 million.
