Future Industry Leaders To Be Recognized At Inaugural Khalifa University Graduation Ceremony

Under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research, will hold its inaugural graduation ceremony on December 12th at the Emirates Palace.

A total of 154 students, 145 undergraduates and 9 M.Sc. students will be recognized at Sunday’s ceremony.

Commenting on the upcoming Graduation Ceremony, Khalifa University President, Professor Tod A. Laursen stated, “Any great University can only be as good as its students, and we are proud of our students not only for the degrees they have earned, but for the very fact that they chose to begin their professional careers, and their development as active technical leaders in society with Khalifa University”.

He continued, “In the fulfilment of H.H’s vision, we are proud to unveil our graduates to the world at the conferring ceremony to be held next week. I am confident that our graduates will be the industry leaders who will further aid and support the achievement of Abu Dhabi Vision 2030.”

The newly instated President of Khalifa University, Professor Tod A. Laursen will deliver his inaugural address at the ceremony entitled, “A Vision for Khalifa University”.
