Abu Dhabi’s Imperial College London Diabetes Centre has confirmed that plans are well underway for the fourth annual diabetes walkathon at Yas Marina Circuit next month (November 26 2010, starting at 3pm).

More than 10,000 people are expected to join the five kilometre walk to raise awareness of diabetes, and the importance of a balanced diet and regular exercise.

Walk UAE 2010 is part of ICLDC’s award-winning public health awareness campaign held under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak. It is supported by the national insurance company – Daman.
