In response to the invitation of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh will pay State Visit to the United Arab Emirates during this Autumn.

According to the statement issued by the British Embassy in Abu Dhabi Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will also visit Sultanate Oman.

It added that this will be the second visit by The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh to both Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The previous visit took place in 1979.
