To celebrate 30 years of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and the United Arab Emirates, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development, in association with the Republic of Korea Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, is organising an exhibition of fine art featuring exhibits from a range of renowned South Korean and Emirati artists.

The exhibition, titled ‘Finding Beauty of Love and Peace’, will be held over 12 days from June 27th to July 7th, at the Abu Dhabi National Theatre. On show will be works of modern art, including paintings, sculpture and installation from 147 well-known South Korean and Emirati painters, which will provide a window into the world of modern art in both countries.

Senior officials from the Ministry of Culture and the Korean Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade will officiate at the formal opening ceremony, which will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Theatre at 7.30 pm on June 28th.

Aimed at fostering a spirit of cultural and artistic between the two countries, the exhibition, is open to all art lovers and enthusiasts. A delegation of South Korean artists will be available on the opening day to give visitors a deeper insight into the South Korean arts scene, with a series of instructional talks and tours around the exhibition.
