Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mahmood, General Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council reviewed the preparations of "Sixth Zayed Charity Marathon 2010" to be held under the patronage of HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, chaired by HH Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor.

The event will take place next Saturday at the Central Park in New York to raise fund for the Healthy Kidney Centre.

Al Mahmood and Retired Lt. General Mohammed Hilal Al Ka’abi, Chairman of the UAE Armed Forces Officers’ Club and head of the higher organising committee, reviewed the Organizational and technical aspects in addition to the events associated with the race.

For his part, Mohammed Ali Amer, General Coordinator of the race referring to UAE embassy’s report stated that international competitors announced their participation and their willingness to break the record to win race’s exceptional financial prize of 20 thousands dollars.
