Commenting on the opening, General Manager of Aldar Golf, Chris White said: “With the addition of Yas Links to the world class facilities already in place, Yas Island is fast becoming the leisure and entertainment destination in the region. Links golf courses are the most traditional land form of this great game and the Aldar development team and all the contractors involved had done an incredible job in re-creating a piece of links coastline in Abu Dhabi. It was very important that the traditions of Links golf were maintained in the design, feel and function of the clubhouse and judging by our membership take up this has been achieved and appreciated."
