The Emirati-German Friendship Society will hold its 5th meeting here in the Intercontinental Hotel on Monday .

The meeting will be co-chaired by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, on behalf of UAE and Dr. Gerhard Schroder, former Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany .

The two-day event will discuss the bilateral relations between UAE and Germany and ways of developing them, especially in the economic, technological, industrial, educational, health and touristic fields.The meeting will also review results of the previous meetings between the two sides.

The Emirati German Friendship Society is seen as an important step to enhance and develop friendly relations between the two countries .
