RAKEZ And NRTC Group Put Workplace Wellness In Focus During Emirati Women’s Month
(25 September 2026)

More than 450 employees took part in a two-day Wellness at Work activation organised by Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), with NRTC Group as a wellness partner, bringing fresh produce, beverages and a focus on healthier living into the workplace as part of Emirati Women’s Month.

Held over two days at RAKEZ Headquarters and RAKEZ Explorer Business Hub, the activation gave RAKEZ employees an opportunity to engage with fresh, healthy choices as part of their working day, while promoting wellbeing, positive lifestyle habits and community engagement.

The initiative marked the first collaboration between RAKEZ and NRTC Group under a broader community outreach programme focused on women’s wellbeing, healthy lifestyles, and community engagement across the UAE.

“Wellness starts with the small choices we make every day, and we want to make those choices easier, more accessible and more enjoyable,” said Mohammed Alrifai, CEO, NRTC Group. “As an Emirati company, we are proud to support initiatives that contribute to the wellbeing of the communities we are part of. Our partnership with RAKEZ allows us to bring fresh produce and healthy living directly into the workplace, making wellness tangible and accessible. It was particularly meaningful to be part of this initiative during Emirati Women’s Month, celebrating the contribution of women while supporting their wellbeing and that of the wider community.”

For RAKEZ, the collaboration provided an opportunity to bring wellbeing directly to its employees while strengthening engagement across its community.

“A healthy workplace starts with healthy people, and initiatives like this make wellbeing a tangible part of the working day,” said Aysha Sulaiman, Director of Human Resources and Development at RAKEZ. “We were pleased to partner with NRTC Group to bring this experience to our employees and to launch a wider programme focused on healthier lifestyles and community wellbeing. The positive response from our employees demonstrates the value of initiatives that bring people together around health, engagement and shared experiences.”

The collaboration brings together NRTC Group’s expertise in fresh produce and beverages with RAKEZ’s extensive business community, creating a platform for practical, accessible wellness initiatives that can reach people in the environments where they live and work.

“By combining business, community and wellbeing, the partnership highlights the role organisations can play in supporting healthier lifestyles and creating positive experiences for their communities, while turning the message of wellness into action,” added Mr Alrifai.
