The Kalima Translation Project from the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi held a seminar at the Frankfurt Book Fair this week which tackled the subject of how to combat book piracy in the Arab world.  

The seminar was attended by Petra Hardt, Director of Rights and Licensing at Suhrkamp Verlag Publishing House, Matthew Elliott, Senior Copyrights Specialist of the Kalima, and Iman Mohammed, Head of Publication Unit at the Public Relations and Communications Sector, Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi. Literary critic Hans Ruprecht, Director of the International Literature Festival in Switzerland, conducted the seminar.
