The UAE will participate in the 122nd Canton Fair (China Import and Export Fair), which is the largest trade fair with the widest variety of exhibits, the broadest distribution of overseas buyers and the highest business turnover.

Held in Guangzhou Canton in South China, it witnesses the attendance of over 20,000 vendors and about 100,000 buyers twice a year.

Juma Al Kait, Assistant Under-Secretary for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Economy, is leading a powerful delegation of 50 representatives of the government, entrepreneurs and owners of SMEs.

He said the participation would enable the UAE delegates to build constructive partnerships with the SMEs in China so they can penetrate promising foreign markets.

The UAE participation is jointly co-ordinated by the Ministry of Economy and the SMEs Council.
