The UAE will participate in the emergency meeting of health ministers of member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to be held Saturday in the Qatari capital, Doha, to discuss the ways to effectively face the dangers of the Swine Flu, which is spreading at alarming rate in various parts of the world.

Minister of Health, Humaid Al-Qattami, will leave here tomorrow for Doha, heading a UAE delegation to the meeting. He is being accompanied by the Secretary General of the Environmental Agency - Abu Dhabi, Majid Al-Mansouri and the Executive Director for Health Policies Affairs at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mahmoud Fikri.
