The Authority’s Al Qattara Arts Centre recently held its Family Day, part of the Centre’s summer programme of art activities designed to appeal to all ages.

Family Day participants enjoyed a number of hands-on activations including “Movie with My Family”, “Painting with an Artist”, and “Our Family Photos” workshops.

Developing a photo album using collage technique, participants of the workshop had their family photos transformed into mesmerising art works. Along with professional artists, visitors also displayed their artistic flair in creating a painting during an interactive session.

Al Qattara Arts Centre, located at the heart of Al Qattara Oasis, seeks to improve communication with the public through its diversified programmes. After its comprehensive renovation, the Centre carefully maintains a blend of traditional architecture with state-of-the-art facilities. It offers a venue where arts and culture can be used and developed by the entire UAE community.
