Former AC Milan and Italy player Paolo Maldini met with his UAE-based supporters today in Abu Dhabi ahead of the footballer’s appearance in the emirate for Abu Dhabi Summer Season.

Maldini, who played more than 600 matches for his club and represented his national team more than 100 times, took time out to chat with supporters of the Abu Dhabi-based AC Milan Club UAE ahead of his appearance on Saturday afternoon at Abu Dhabi Summer Season’s Fun Nation, a month-long series of activities at the du Forum on Yas Island.

The player, regarded as one of the best defenders of all time, was in the capital to hold special footballing masterclasses with local and expat players looking to learn tips and skills from one of the world’s best players.

Fun Nation, arranged by Flash Entertainment, runs until August 6 as part of Abu Dhabi Summer Season, organised by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi).
