The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi has received 347,895 worshippers, including more than 275.5 fasting people in the first 10 days of the month of Ramadan.

To accommodate the large numbers of worshippers, the management of the mosque set up 12 air-conditioned tents in the yard as part of an annual Ramadan event in memory of the namesake of the mosque, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE.

All relevant government departments in Abu Dhabi are making concerted efforts to ensure safety and comfort of worshippers during the holy month.
