Abu Dhabi is to host the Arab Tourism Media Awards 2016, organised by the Arab Centre for Tourism Media on the 11th of February at the TRYP by Wyndham Hotel. 

The awards include 22 media categories specialising in the field of tourism. The contest saw a large turnout after the introduction of electronic voting during the 2015 session. 

Hussain Al Mannai, Chairman of the Arab Centre for Tourism Media, said, "The awards will be given to the outstanding media and tourism figures that have a significant role in supporting tourism and encourage inter-Arab tourism and to highlight the tourism potential in the region."
