The Podium Lounge Abu Dhabi F1 after parties at du Forum over the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend have been hailed a success.

Thousands of guests partied until the early hours, enjoying entertainment from Freemasons + Katherine Ellis (who wrote and performed the title track for the Oscar-winning film Gravity), Mark Doyle + Fierce Angel (of Hed Kandi fame), LMFAO’s 8KY 6LU, and house classics Joey Negro and Dimitri from Paris, as well as a live fashion catwalk show each night by acclaimed designer Farnaz Salmani.

The F1 memorabilia auction saw some classic pieces snatched up, including a Michael Schumacher signed racing boot for US $8,500 and a Formula 1 Racing flag signed by all of the drivers of the 2015 season which went for US $7,000.

‎Celebrities in attendance included F1 Racing Legend Eddie Jordan, former Ferrari F1 Driver Giancarlo Fisichella and 2 Michelin Star and Celebrity Chef Michael Caine.

Robbie Hoyes-Cock, Managing Director, The Podium Lounge commented: “With the move to du Forum, we were really excited about what we could offer party-goers this year.  Moving the venue gave us a ‘blank canvas’ for creating a truly spectacular event, and allowed a lot more flexibility in terms of venue set-up, entertainment and ticket pricing.  It was great to see partygoers enjoying themselves until the early hours each night.”

The Podium Lounge have been hosting sell-out F1 after parties in some of the F1’s biggest locations, including Singapore, Melbourne and Monaco.
