The cast of Mummenshanz - the Musicians of Silence – took their characters away from the stage and into the exquisite setting of Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace hotel ahead of their shows at the iconic hotel this weekend as part of Abu Dhabi Summer Season.

The Swiss performance troupe, which performs masked and in silence, are in the UAE capital following two stunning shows last month in Al Ain.

The troupe was formed more than 40 years ago and has played to audiences around the world, captivating audiences with their unique blend of movement and mime using inventive forms of shadow, light and props.

The show has been brought to the UAE by event organiser Alchemy Project and brings to an end a three-month-long Abu Dhabi Summer Season which has been held emirate-wide and presented by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi).
