The Department of Transport, DoT, in Abu Dhabi has announced Mawaqif timings as well as the working hours of its Customer Care Centres during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

According to the DoT, Mawaqif parking fees will be applied during Ramadan from Saturday to Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and from 9 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., while on Thursdays the timings are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and from 9 p.m. to midnight. On Fridays, there will be free parking from 12:01 a.m. to 08:59 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Furthermore, the DoT noted that all people attending Tarawih prayers will be exempt from Mawaqif fees in the parking bays surrounding mosques during prayer time, provided that they do not block vehicles or hinder traffic flow. The DoT has also urged the public to adhere to the regulations regarding the resident permit parking bays from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m..
