The Western Region (Al Gharbia) Police Directorate at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters won first place in the men’s Road Race Championship. The Operations Department placed second, and the Police Schools Department placed third.

More than 726 riders from various departments of the Abu Dhabi Police general headquarters competed in the Road Race Championship that was held on the Abu Dhabi Corniche. The championship, organized by the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development and represented by the Sports Activity Section, falls within the framework of the Sports Activities Program in the security zone of Abu Dhabi.

Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, General Director of Strategy and Performance Development, the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, praised the efforts of the sports authorities and for their role in realizing sporting achievements that are a worthy of the reputation that has been built by Abu Dhabi Police. “The leadership supports the athleticism of our members in the pursuit of achieving even greater results, which will be added to the legacy of the Abu Dhabi Police,” he said.
