The Excellence Laboratory at the Operations Department at the Directorate General of Central Operations in the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ kicked off the ‘Group Cognition’ program for operation rooms. The program is part of the laboratory’s action plan for the current year.

Major Issa Abdullah Al Marzouqi, Strategic Planning Branch Manager at the Operations Department, indicated that the program falls within the improvement plan for the assessment tools adopted by the Excellence Laboratory, which was established as an interactive center to manage the strategic planning, excellence and quality requirements.

In the workshop recently organized at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, Major Al Marzouqi reviewed the risk management policy and its effective mechanisms and programs that are consistent with the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s strategy.

Participants discussed a number of topics related to laboratory excellence, and submitted several proposals that would contribute to enhancing police performance levels and community service in a manner that promotes the security and stability gains.

It is worth mentioning that the Excellence Laboratory is responsible for monitoring the performance of operations rooms and monitoring the implementation of excellence requirements. It is also responsible for organizing brainstorming sessions to help improve staff members’ performance and the quality of services offered to the public.
