Police College Delegation Visits The Juveniles Care Center

A delegation from the Police College headed by Colonel Dr. Khalifa Ali Al Kaabi, member of the Training Authority and accompanied by a number of officers and recruits of the 27th batch of recruits from the College, recently visited the Al Mafraq Juveniles Care Center. The delegation was received upon arrival by Colonel Dr. Abdullah Muhammed Bu Hindi, Director of Al Mafraq Juvenile Care Center.

The visit reflects the keenness of the Police College officials to enhance partnership with society institutions and acquaint students with the workflow at the center, as well as the social services, programs, and activities it provides. It also falls in line with the field visits and experiments that would help students in their future professional and practical career.

The delegation toured the center, where they were briefed on its social activities and services, and its efforts in instilling values and principles in juveniles as part of their behavioral rehabilitation using the best initiatives that would ensure proper implementation of the targeted activities and achieve behavior guidance pertaining to the specific cases of juvenile offenders’ from different walks of life, in addition to providing support programs for their families.

For his part, Colonel Dr. Khalifa Ali Al Kaabi expressed his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the center’s officials for their warm welcome and hospitality. He also praised the Juveniles Care Center’s efforts and the programs it offers in order to provide the best means of care for juveniles; wishing them further success and progress in the service of the people of this beloved country.
