ADNOC Distribution participated today in the nation-wide campaign that in celebration of “UAE Flag Day”. The ceremony to hoist UAE flag was held at the company headquarters at Abu Dhabi. The ceremony represented a symbol of unity, national pride and patriotism and witnessed active participation from ADNOC Distribution’s management and all its employees.

On this auspicious occasion, Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, said: “UAE Flag Day is a very special occasion as its symbolize sublime values​​. Also, this is the appropriate date for us to express our gratitude to the founders of our nation, and to be united behind our wise leadership represented by His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. May God bless and protect him."

Al Dhaheri added: “ADNOC Distribution is proud to re-assure that our promises and our efforts to serve our nation’s flag and sacrifice for it, and we are working in light of the guidance of our leadership to contribute to the development and prosperity of our economy and to achieve the strategic goals of UAE and preserve its gains.”

UAE celebrates in November the third of each year's its “Flag Day’ with a nation-wide ceremony to hoist it above all the central government buildings across the country. The annual celebration in this day coincides with the accession of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the President of the UAE, may God protect him, to the presidency.
