Summertown Interiors, UAE-based LEED Gold certified interior fit-out contractor, has appointed Paul Briers as Project Director.

Mr. Briers, who has been working in the interior construction industry for the past 18 years, will be a key member of the corporate management team, with overall responsibility for delivery of Summertown’s projects. His strong commercial background, business management acumen and focus on continuous improvement and quality delivery of projects make Mr. Briers, a passionate advocate for sustainability, the perfect candidate for the job.

Before joining Summertown Mr. Briers held, for more than seven years, a management position with UAE design and construction services firm ALEC, working on major construction projects across various sectors such as hospitality, retail, and education. Prior to that he was a partner in an interiors contracting business in South Africa.

Mr. Briers holds a BSc degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Free State, South Africa and a Masters in Project Management from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.

Paul moved to the Middle East in 2007 and lives with his wife and two sons in Dubai.
