The Department of Economic Development - Abu Dhabi, ADDED, is organising on coming Wednesday the sixth session of the Knowledge Forum entitled "Green Economy" in order to exchange knowledge between the public and private sectors with the participation of a number of government and semi governmental institutions.

The participating institutions which also include Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi, Masdar City and ADNOC Distribution will display their experiences and contributions in the field of green economy and the mechanisms of its implementation and the impact of the results on the institution and the community.

The recent period has witnessed a series of developments at the level of public and private sectors as a prelude to building common understandings and realistic perceptions about the best ways to support the achievement of the aspirations of the wise leadership in the field of green economy, according to ADDED.

As per the aspirations of the Economic Vision of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi 2030, the Department has sought to develop a number of initiatives in support of this approach, where joining to the membership of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Group and the establishment of Abu Dhabi Business Centre come in the forefront as important steps for supporting sustainability in its three different aspects "environment, economy and society."
