MOI Inaugurates Performance Indicators Control Room At Naturalization And Residency

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) inaugurated the performance indicators control room of the Naturalization, Residency and Ports sector, located at the Strategy Coordination Follow-up & Execution Section at the Strategy and Performance Development Department at the sector.

Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs, said: “This first-of-its-kind control room was developed one year after the establishment of the Strategy Coordination Follow-up & Execution Section across the northern emirates and the development and evaluation of the administrative operations through all of its four levels. A comprehensive performance indicators system was designed and includes strategy performance indicators; institutional excellence requirements’ indicators; and excellent service indicators. The system implements and uses the concepts of good governance with full transparency.”

 “The electronic program was developed to feature online surveys that include all concerned entities (employees, clients, partners, suppliers and community members),” added Major General Al Khaili.

For his part, Colonel Abdullah Abdurrahman bin Sultan, Head of Strategy and Performance Development Department at the sector, said: “The e-performance management program integrates with the Acuteprogram that is used at the Ministry of Interior. It is a comprehensive program that is designed to develop performance at the Naturalization, Residency and Ports sector.”

Colonel Bin Sultan added: “100 employees from the Naturalization, Residency and Ports sector have received training on how to operate the program; higher leaderships will also undergo similar training. The program guarantees full communication via SMS that will be sent to all users.”
