Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, launched his official Twitter account on Wednesday: @SaifBZayed.

In his first Tweet posted on Twitter, His Highness wrote: “Brothers and sisters, I welcome you all. I would like to begin by thanking everyone who congratulated me on the new baby; I wish happiness and success to everyone.”

It is worth mentioning that Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed welcomed his fourth child (Ahmed) last Friday, while surrounded by the overwhelming joy of family. The family asked God Almighty to watch upon the newborn and bestow good health upon him.

The number of His Highness’ followers reached more than 10,000 in the first hour after the account’s launch. Many followers expressed their happiness regarding the creation of the account, which reflects His Highness’s keenness to communicate directly with citizens, residents and visitors, as well as siblings and friends based in the UAE and abroad.
