The UAE Ministry of Economy, in cooperation with the Arab Planning Institute, organised a workshop to highlight the role and objectives of the leading development institute in the region.

His Excellency Mohammed Al Shehhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, welcomed the team from Arab Planning Institute, and underlined its pivotal role in leading the development of Arab countries through focused training, research and consultancy.

His Excellency directed the participants to leverage the extensive experience of the Institute and use the key learning in their strategic planning process at their respective organisations.

The Arab Planning Institute, founded in 1966, is a non-profit regional organization with a primary mission to advance the cause of economic and social development in Arab countries through training, research, consultancy, expert-group meetings, and publication.
