The Al Ain Social Support Centre affiliated to the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ launched its awareness-raising program “Your Family Your Haven”, in line with its plan for 2013. It is noteworthy that the program will be implemented in a number of religious centers affiliated to the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and target 100 married women in those centers.

The Program, which will run until September, aims to shed the light on the matrimonial duties and responsibilities of each party to the marriage, and the ways and skills required to deal with marital conflicts, as well as to protect society from the negative effects of family and social problems.

The program will feature a series of educational lectures on the skills of solving marital conflicts. Moreover, the campaign’s program will focus on women and the key role they play in this aspect. It will also highlight the means and methods to renew the marital relationship, and promote the dialogue between the two spouses. Notably, the program will feature a number of round tables and open discussions with the target group, with a view to define the meaning of a healthy and happy marriage, based on stability, tranquility, communication and compassion.
